OMG, whose translation is that from? O_O

I've seen part of Hiro Subs', all of Jasconius', and all of AnimeSource. AnimeSource's is horrible, but not like that. (It does things like "Did we lose our memories together?" for Omoide ni maketa no? and "He doesn't want to fight alone" for Hitori de tatakau ki nanda. and "You look high-spirited" for Karuku natte kita.) Both HS and Jasconius had pretty good translations, but I like Jasconius' because they're softsubs, and they're in a separate file so I can actually edit the bits I don't like. :P

...yes, I've been obsessing over AC translations a lot. Mainly because I watched ASource's subs with a group of people, and when I was complaining afterwards about all the horrible mistakes they made, they just rolled their eyes at me and were like, "Oh oh, burn me a copy!" Bah.

Huh? Finger? What the hell?

That's a non-sub from the Something Awful forums. ;)

Image Oh no!

Funnily, I can actually understand how they came to that title.

But no Chinese pirates, this! Image

Hee, as good as the limited edition OoT boxes where "environments" was spelled "enivironments".

Okay. I thought I'd heard that before somewhere, but I haven't gone through bad video game quotes in a while. ^^;;

Ooo, refrences!

I love it! Unfortunately, I don't love the film (yet). It seems like everyone in the world except myself has seen this... even the doctors at work have seen this film!

Ziddar is correcting this fatal error though. ;)

Lawd almighty, you're alive. o_o

I just saw it last night, myself. It's not really worth it, speaking as a not-very-heavy-fan-of-FF XP Flashy visuals, though.

You probably won't believe it, but even I finally saw Advent Children, albeit because my boyfriend had it *ahem*. Anyway, as a non-FF fan (meaning, not all sentimental about seeing certain characters return), I came away with the impression that the entire film was just a setup for flashy fight scenes. I mean, it's like, "Wow, such realistic light/hair/fur/water," but this doesn't square (hah) with the amount of suspension of disbelief required.

I really hope the games have better plots. *sigh*

I wasn't even busy being impressed by most of the visuals because it looked so realistic I forgot to marvel at the CG, heh. =P But yeah, I'd really have to rank the movie low. It's actually far *better* with the aforementioned parody subtitles, as Lillian can attest.

The game has a much more substantial plot, although you shouldn't ask my opinion about how *good* it is. =P At whatever rate though it's Shakespeare next to Advent Children's non-story.
