Why do I not see the emotion in these peoples' eyes? Am I secretly autistic or something?

Well, they are evil. At least, Zelda's evil. All princesses are evil. You just KNOW they all got together and decided on the plural form of the word princess...I hate that word...
And Link could be evil, if he really tried hard enough. "Heroes" is easy to spell, but whether or not there should be an 'e' there can confuzzle some people...
I had TWO dictionaries in this room, and they have both disappeared. Grr.
So...anyway...that had no point whatsoever, and it's only a waste of space on the intarweb.

I now amend my previous comment to: Zelda's left eye = eh.

Link has emotion... he's looking far off and going "huh? should I be worried about that?". He also looks like he's 30. Zelda is... looking intently down at something. Unless that be the nether regions of Dark Link, it isn't justified. Her left eye isn't focused on the same thing has her right eye, so you have to shift one or the other over. Besides, people's eyelids naturally move down/half-close when they're looking down. If I were home I'd do a quick doodly thing, but alas I'm in the library.

Zelda's face looks kind of flat, but maybe I missed a post where you said you'd do more.

Link's expression is, "Hm, that's odd..." And his nearer eye is pointed higher than the other. It's also kind of stare-y, like, not really focused.

Whew, I don't see how you can stand to post so many in-progress shots. I have enough problems listening to myself say, "That part's wrong. That part doesn't look right."

Well, it is disenheartening, but having other people say "That's part's wrong. That part looks angry. That part's disfocused." is better than having myself say "That's kinda off but I can't quite figure out how to fix it and maybe other people won't notice."

But like I said, if you guys ever get sick of shuddering in horror at my progress posts... XP

i'm not shuddering in horror, just laughing at Megan's comments. "Zelda looks like she's going to eat someone." will never get old.
It's just like "I have mine set on vibrate." It never gets old.
