HP Tarot card progress - The Lovers

I had a lot of trouble trying to nail down the sketch for this one. (Seriously you don't want to see the previous attempts.) Turns out that I needed to just zoom in and draw a face, instead of working the overall composition as a whole as is generally good practice. I suppose that's to be expected with an emotional-centric piece...

WHY DO I KEEP DRAWING COUPLES DOING STUFF WITH HANDS. IT'S FREAKING HARD AND CAN NEVER FIND REFERENCE and too inconvenient to make my own.

I've always been a little iffy on designing Ginny, at least after she grows a spine and becomes GENERIC UNDERREPRESENTED ACTION GRRL. I think I got her okay here, does she look Ginny (and not Lily or Fleur or Luna) enough to you guys?

(And no, movie Ginny does NOT count.)

I don't ship it, myself, buuuut I suppose this warrants the "rampant shipping" tag in of itself. :P

I think she needs to look a bit older... Maybe lower hair line or higher facial features?

Aw, and here I was trying to make her look younger 'cause I'm plenty good at drawing a generic 20s-ish lady face and not much else. She's only 15-16 in this scene! And she's always been slightly young-looking in my mind.
