HP Tarot card progress - The High Priestess
Hey y'all with different monitor settings. ::cough
boggybcough:: Is this too dark (or monochrome) for you, or is it okay? Just wanna double check before I carry on with these colors.

Also I'm starting to wonder if this is maybe looking a little not-particularly-Harry Potter-esque. Any issue there?

I see what you're saying about not HP-esque... but I can't imagine how you would remedy that. Give her more wizard-like clothes?

Right, it's had long enough. It's not nearly as dark is it looked at first, though there's a couple of bits which could do with being a little brighter. I think the only bit which really could do with being brighter is her hair - it gets lost in the almost-black cloth.
(My monitor is likely set darker than most. It was "calibrated" some time ago using the test images for Riven, and so has contrast at 100% and brightness at 30%. It's also an old CRT, so the black level is a lot darker than on a LCD. I keep thinking I should recalibrate it, but just about every test card has a different recommendation for where the black and white limits should be)
