Accursed perfectionism!
Yeeeah, that's enough effort for something that wasn't even commissioned. XP

The composition still nags me a little, but oh well. I prefer illustrations that depict a single scene rather than ensemble pics like this one (because I can play with dramatic lighting much more), but I pretty much had to do this idea.
And now that it no longer has to be a secret - the fanfic this pic illustrates is That Which We Have Loved by ForeverWanderer. I don't know if any of you will be interested in reading it but it's a nice story if you do :)
