Specific question, guys.

See the edge of wolf-Link's cliff that's running into the other side of the picture at the bottom? Should it connect with the ledge on the other side of the boundary? I'm favoring it not do so, because they're actually two different perspectives, but I'm wondering if I'm creating a tangent nonetheless.

(Don't mind the weird coloring on Ammy, I shifted her position after the fact. It'll all be fixed!)

I'm super confused. :(

This bit. Should those two parts line up completely, or not at all? (Or okay as is?)

It looks fine as it is...

Oh wait, is that supposed to be one ledge or two? I read it as one ledge...

Well, I could make it one ledge, but as it is right now they're not the same ledge. So I'm going to try either making it one ledge or taking something out entirely.

I think that they should either line up, or it should be an obvious difference. At the moment they almost line up and it looks a bit odd, especially as there are other elements that cross the boundary which do line up (e.g. the dark blob just above Wolf!Link's left ear, the tip of the cliff that Ammy is standing on).

That's exactly what I figured. I'll play around with things some more. Thanks!

I read somewhere that having two things almost-but-not-quite touching (like the ledges at the moment) draws the viewer's attention to the space between them and this is bad, or something.

I'm looking forward to seeing this finished though! zelda + okami = win + win :D

That would be the tangents (http://emptyeasel.com/2008/11/18/avoiding-tangents-9-visual-blunders-every-artist-should-watch-out-for/) I was talking about, so they are going away one way or the other!

And I can't wait to see this finished too, I wish I could just skip the inbetween bits :D

I say they should connect, since both the sun and the river seem to match up.
