Added more revisions to the Decker pencil art, and you know what? That's me at home, right there =D

Does anybody have any opinions or advice or anything to say on Cafepress? Would it be worthwhile for me to sell art prints from there? Would you buy from there? How's their quality? Looks like a better deal than Kinko's, at least. Any merchandise you want to buy with my art on it, besides posters? =D And would it even be legal? (No. Can I get away with it?)

I've ordered things off of Cafepress before and have never had a problem with it. I know jeykama has sold some of his Zelda fanart via Cafepress, but I think the legality of selling fanworks is pretty iffy (well, probably non-existant). There are a lot of fanartists/authors out there selling merchandise, so it's pretty obvious that you can get away with it, though.

As for the kind of merchandise I'd buy: if we're talking about fanart, I'd go for the posters and cards, not the t-shirts and mugs. I don't think I'd want to watch a favorite piece of fanart get faded by the dryer.... ;)

Yeah, I got the idea from Jey's post, actually. I took a glance through Cafepress to see if I could find her store, but didn't come across it. (Maybe private stores are not displayed?) But ah, I don't think I'll go that route anyway.

Of course I don't mind being friended =) The more the merrier.
