Cedric Cedric drool =D

Goblet of Fire was so damn gorgeous, I liked it even better than PoA (which I thought was leaps and bounds above the first two). Maybe the fact that I haven't re-read the book in a long time helped that I wasn't missing all the things that were cut out, but I felt it did a pretty close-to-perfect job of cramming in all the most important parts of a freaking 700 page book. [livejournal.com profile] ctrl_a, I think you'll even enjoy it since they trimmed off all the fat they could manage.

I was getting all emotional at the parts from the book that the movie did so perfectly, like the Quidditch World Cup stadium and the Durmstrang ship rising out of the lake and the whole graveyard scene... Ohh, I'd love to watch this again, but who knows when that'll be. Wonder if I can catch an IMAX showing at the Tech when I go home for winter break? ::drool::

And then Narnia's coming out in a couple of weeks, and then King Kong! Too many good movies to watch! ^___^

Edit: I like how they didn't shy away from the Death Eater/KKK visual parallel, if that could be called not shying away. Oh! And they brought back the Hogwarts school song!! =D =D =D

Well, I still need to see it, so a showing during break would be cool. I'll be gone most of the 2 weeks Lynbrook is off, though, so try to plan your party early if you want me to come. ^^;;

Ooh, I haven't seen it yet either, but this is the second "Cedric, drool drool" I've heard from female friends, quite a strong recommendation.

I'm not going anywhere for break, but I hope the quarter/semester system doesn't mess things up if you want me to come to your party too. :)

I can finally comment on this! Woot!
Oh man, it was very prettiful wasn't it? So very prettiful, and Ralph Fiennes had Voldemort down to a T. I don't know about you, but I felt they did the aftermath to Cedric's death perfectly- I teared up in the cinema appropriately enough.

(Also, going back to waaay back when, Robert Pattinson isn't right for Link. Great actor, but he's all wrong in profile ^__^)

Yup, I teared up, and the boyfriend was all sniffly ;) I'm sure I'd have been quite a ways worse off if I didn't know it was coming.

I need to see more of Cedric, he was so generically pretty boy that I actually don't have a very good impression of him in my mind. ::psst psst:: Hey wasn't he totally coming on to Harry when he told him to take a bath?? ;D

Noooo, Harry has body odour and smelt offensive. He's got all hot and bothered thinking about girrrrls. *Goes cross eyed trying to remember the insinuations...* But, there was definitely mutual package observation in the lake.
::psst psst::
yum!

How's your impression now?

What the...!

Looking kinda zombified. The next couple pics are better.

Is that a good 'what the...!' or a 'bad what the...!'?

But he does scruffy nicely, doesn't he?
