A little spider about the size of my pinky nail just crawled out(?) of my keyboard.  That's fine, spiders are friends, it can help eat the hellspawn mosquitos that torture me so.  I leave it alone.

Then it jumps about two inches to the back of the chair that the laptop was placed on.  Gah?  I examine it closer to make sure it's not actually a baby cricket.  Nope, I see it gnashing its pincers, as if pleased at itself and its eight little jumpy legs.  It hops around a little more between the slats of the chair and scuttles out of sight.

I know there are jumping spiders, but I was under the impression they were like huge venomous ones that eat birds or something...

Well, you did say that you were at your computer. So I assume that that means that you ARE working on your stories that have been posted FF.net; right? Any reason that you've left it unchanged for... (counts) 10 months? And to add insult to injury, proclaim that you would work on it after school... almost officially three months ago?

Or have you given up writing those stories? If you have, you should at least let the readers know.

Believe it or not, I have been working. It's just that, being an artist first and foremost, I find it more difficult to push out writing (not to mention I've got a bazillion projects going on). If it'd satisfy y'all, I could post here the hole-riddled half-chapter that's been done so far. I was going to save that until it was ready for the beta but hey, no skin off my back.
