So what'll I post tomorrow?  Oh the suspense!

Man, page 135 and the train's just arrived at Hogwarts.  How long is this book again?

Oh well, you know what's up:

The last two days (not counting time spent on the road) of the tour was the Le Mountain and Emei Mountain, both well-known Buddhist locales.  Being not Buddhist, I'm just picking out the pictures that are nice with the scenery and whatnot. ;P

It doesn't look like it but I'm in a "Let's go already dammit" pose.

Le Mountain is famous for having a giant Buddha carved into the mountain, and you tour it by going down the narrow path on one side and up the other.  Climbing back up left us totally pooped ::points up::

Random stone toad.  Cool.

Emei Mountain has some very nice scenery.  Looks pretty zen, doesn't it?

There are turtles in this pool, but isn't there something else...? ;)

The climate in the mountain is hot and very wet, which I guess is really good for insects.  Look at 'em flourish!

Aside from Buddhism, Emei Mountain is probably most famous for its macaque monkeys.  They're pretty used to getting fed by a bazillion tourists every day, by now.

See, here they are.  (Looking more at-one-with-nature than they actually are. ;P)

What are you looking at? ¬_¬

Euuuyghhh.

And that's all of the photos!  All of the best ones, anyway.  I had to leave a lot on the cutting room floor...

Those are some awesome close-up shots of the bugs, &c. O.O Wow... I especially like the leaf-bug one - very, very nice ^^

Actually, HBP is shorter than book 5, so really - it could be worse! ^^
