Blagh, I think I've dead-ended myself. Please critique on lighting, if you guys can. (Go light on the anatomy nitpicking. I'm not working that hard on this one.)
Hm, well first thing that comes to mind is that, since this is a outdoors-beach scene, the light should have more of a yellowish sunshiny color to it, rather than straight white. Second is reflective lighting - you've done well with the red swimsuit on the redhead (I'm sorry, I don't know any of these characters), but they guy's blue shorts should be reflecting onto her also. Same goes for the yellow swimsuit reflecting onto guy's skin and shorts. Hair would also reflect, so there should be some purple and red/orange on the guy's skin next to the women's hair. You've seemed to have used pretty high-contrast on both the redhead and the guy, but there isn't much contrast between light and dark for the other woman. I realize she's mostly in the shade, but there are parts of her in the sun (hand, part of face) and they should contrast more with the areas in the shade. Finally, (and I'm not sure about this one) it looks like the sunlight is coming in too far on the redhead - especially if the lightsource is in the upper right-hand corner as it seems to be. I realize that it might be from farther to the right than the corner, but if that's the case, you shouldnt emphasize it coming from the corner like you do now.
I'm not going to say much on anatomy (because I'm probably worse than you at it -.-;;), but it does seem like the redhead's torso is too thin in comparison to her hips? It's just, I know how big hips are ::looks down at self:: but I don't think they're that big. Maybe add a little to the her stomach on the side next to the right edge (her left side)?
Ah, that helps a lot. I knew about most of those issues, but I wasn't sure which ones detracted the most and I should focus on. And of course, not all of it is at the same degree of finished-ness. Will work more later.
And don't try to identify the characters - the two girls are generic and the guy is an original by someone else. ;)
