Legend of Zelda
1. Goes without saying... Link
2. Sheik, actually. Not that I didn't like him before, but the cosplaying was a... bonding experience ;P
3. Saria. I think she's a sweet girl and all, I just don't fan over her like some people do. Sort of similar to Ami-syndrome.
4. Navi. She was much better than that bitch Tatl.
5. Ralph (from Oracle of Ages). He means well, but he just rubs me the wrong way.
Sailor Moon (just the main cast, to save me some thinking time)
1. Tuxedo Mask XD Then again, maybe it was Rei, with her long black hair...
2. I'd say Venus. She seems to be a nutty flake but she's actually pretty kickass. And that's not even going into the live-action version.
3. Jupiter, not counting the live-action version (I love her in there).
4. There are rabid Chibiusa haters, but I'm fine with her.
5. Michiru is a beautiful person, but personality-wise I wouldn't want to be on her team.
Harry Potter
1. Harry himself. But then he grew up into Pissed-off Angsty Teenager... -_-
2. Neville, probably. I don't *love* him yet but I do cheer for him.
3. Luna. Seriously, I'm afraid I just can't get behind her character.
4. Gawd, is anybody really hated in HP fandom? Even Pettigrew's got supporters. Umm... Viktor Krum? Anyone dislike him?
5. Cho Chang. She's just so shallow, emotionally.
Lord of the Rings
1. Legolas. I think even in the book I found him nifty. But nowadays I mostly just laugh at him. XD
2. Boromir. He was supposed to be the "bad guy" (not really) but Sean Bean won me over but good. Especially that extended scene in TTT...
3. I like Frodo, but he's not nearly as great as the fangirls make him out to be. Especially movie!Frodo.
4. Arwen? I think there are people who bash her, particularly when it comes to the movie.
5. Wormtongue. He was never made to be liked.
And since I have few fandoms but like filling out lists, here's a few more things that I've had experience in but not enough to do the fandom thing for.
Final Fantasy VII (again, just the main cast)
1. No one really... I guess Vincent comes the closest.
2. Yuffie, for no real good reason. Fanfiction won me over. ;P
3. Cloud. I can't imagine what people see in this cold, self-centered, unstable psychotic. (I don't think there are any Cloud lovers on my friendslist, but if you are, feel free to try and convince me otherwise.)
4. Do people dislike Nanaki (Red XIII)? 'Cause I think he's cool.
5. Cait Sith. I respect Reeve's courage and all, but an ugly cat on a big clumsy plushie just doesn't appeal to me.
Final Fantasy VIII
1. Zell. He could almost go in #2, because usually I'm slightly annoyed by the cheerful, energetic character types, but he won me over almost immediately.
2. Squall, because I always heard he was just "...Whatever." But I found him a lot more believable and sincere than Cloud.
3. Do people like Seifer? Well, I don't.
4. Man, I don't know who people dislike, besides Rinoa. And I don't like her.
5. So far, Rinoa (and from what I hear it's likely to stay that way). She has just not done anything useful, in terms of the story.
Buffy (I've only seen the first season, some of the second, and little bits from the others.)
1. hjhsgldfhgth GILES!
2. Maybe Willow, because she seemed a bit too stereotypical at first.
3. Angel. He's good-looking, sure, but kind of boring. (That's only from the episodes I've seen, mind.)
4. Pass... who does fandom hate?
5. Xander. He was a good, loyal friend at first, but then he turned into such a self-righteous ASS.
Queer as Folk (almost through with the first season.)
1. Michael. Geeky and honest and a little insecure, he'd be the one I pick in real life. ...That is, if I were a gay man.
2. Justin was SUCH an immature little prick at the beginning of the series, but he's getting better now. And he wants to go into computer animation =)
3. Brian has his good moments, but when he's bad he pisses me off. I'm too much a goody-goody to like him consistently.
4. I have no idea who people hate, but I'm gonna guess that not so many people revel in Emmett's fah-bulousness like I do. ;)
5. Lindsay, somewhat. She's, like, kind of selfish...
Homestar Runner (What? That doesn't count! ;D)
1. The Cheat, that cute little P***chu clone ;)
2. The Poopsmith - he's a video game/cartoon fan! =D (See his Halloween costumes)
3. Not sure how popular Marzipan is... but in high doses she gets on my nerves.
4. Who's less liked, Coach Z or Bubs? I love 'em both =)
5. Nobody likes Strong Sad...
