Time management sucks.

Work hath resumed on teh costume. Of course there's still a lot of time till Fanime, but I might as well get as much done as I can, early as possible. The first priority is to finish embroidering the pants. The second priority is to make the shoe-thingies and the finger bandages. What the hell is going on with Sheik's footwear anyway?

There's also the matter of art sales. Easiest thing to do would be to just put up a few things in the art show/auction thingie, but word seems to be that last year it wasn't organized very well, to say the least. But if I get a table in the Artist Row, am I going to have to stay there the whole time? Maybe will be able to share, and thus switch off, with other Anime Club people. Dunno. But will probably need to apply for a table ASAP...

This is NOT a good time to be getting back into my rampant doodling mood.

I did indeed use black socks last Halloween (I had some dark blue socks somewhere at one time... but I couldn't find them...), but I didn't know one could acquire slipper soles. That would certainly be a helpful start. But they're all weirdly shaped (http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n01/n64/software/nus_p_nalj/smash/flash/1030/sheik_pinup.jpg) with chunks of different colors poking out here and there... I'm going to have to cut up at least one pair of socks, or something.

Well, it's not really that high on my list of concern, since I for one almost never pay attention to people's footwear. It's just the next-biggest part of the costume I haven't yet done. I'll probably ask the people at anime club for help =)

Highlights on his left eye and a finished wardrobe- I'm debating the novelty of giving him a Sheikah thong for the time being...
I'm making him little booties, because I couldn't be arsed to make them all in one as it's a bitch get him into his jumpsuit as it is. I spent hours last night sewing the patches onto its legs and I'm about to line the edges with white elastic. I'm also debating whether to patch the sleeves as most of the arms are going to be covered in the bandages. Don't get me started on the turban- I have no idea what's going on with that.

Aaaa! Do it! Do it! You know you want to! It should totally have the eye on it - although since it'll be so tiny I'd cut him some slack. ;)

Good freakin' luck - it took me two tries to get it done, and only because I vastly simplified the design on the second attempt. I can't imagine having to do it on such a small scale. You'll probably end up drawing or sewing the lines in, or something.

No fear on the eye and tiny thong front, I took textiles and my mini-stiching skills are pretty good. Photos asap.
