Summer officially starts here

I is teh home! Home being a new dorm room, that is. At last I've got a double instead of a triple, and right now it is all settled in and cozy-like. And I just found out my roommate is the head librarian for Anime Club. <g> I should go to bed early tonight because I'm tired and gotta get up early for the internship tomorrow, but lemme relish my summer freedom!

Oh, I got a cool towel at Disney World that has a group shot of like all the villains from the major Disney animated movies on it. I don't have it with me here, else I'd take a picture to show. I'm not usually the kind who goes for the baddies (unless they're really badass), but I thought it was nifty that Disney would acknowledge their villains' styles and milk it for what it's worth. You shoulda seen Jafar sashaying down the street with Cruella de Ville and the Wicked Queen in one of the parades. Oh yeah. XD

Speaking of the Wicked Queen (from Snow White), I learned from a voice dubbing exhibit that I can do a very accurate impression of her in the old crone disguise. Excellent.

Edit: Well, it's this one, though that picture's pretty hard to see.

That's cool you went to Disney World for vacation. I'm going there in 2 weekends as well, to visit the guy i'm dating because he works there. That'd be weird if you randomly saw him, which i bet you did... he plays trombone in the dixie band, and does all the parades and whatnot... hmmm...

Mmmm... villain group shot...

/me is a sucker for themed group shots. ^_^;;

Though now that I think about it, none of the Disney villains ever struck my particular fancy that I can remember at the moment. Maybe Jafar and Captain Hook. Jafar was pretty cool in the sequels -- two of the few Disney sequels that were actually decent.

Anyhow, have a good internship, and email me! :P

Ahhh... wait, was Jafar even in the second sequel?

Anyway, you'd like those villains too if you saw them strut their stuff in person. Especially the evil Queens, they just drink it up. XD And Jafar is rather Snapish, isn't he?

Yes, Jafar wasn't in the second sequel. The first one, then. Haven't seen them in a loooong time. The evil Queens are alright. I think I liked Maleficent when I was little. Oooh, and the witch lady in Sword in the Stone is fun. ^^ Always really, really hated Cinderella's stepmother, though. She was so mean. Especially when she locked her up! ;_;

Need to play Kingdom Hearts more. Disney villains with Square style . . . maybe . . . or something. ^^;;

Yes, Jafar is quite Snapish. Oh man, now I'll never be able to disassociate their voices.

That reminds me, I saw a bit of Philosopher's Stone on TV. I think it was Harry's voice that was rather high. But the biggest thing was that Snape's voice was so deep. o.O;; It was the scene where he's threatening Quirrell (?) at night.

I wanted to hear more voices, but they were going to go into the Mirror of Erised stuff, so I didn't stay. I couldn't hear what Gryffindor was saying during the Quidditch match. =/ I've always liked the "Fly, fly, Gryffindor!" In Japanese, it would've been cool if they said, "Fight-o! Fight-o!" like they do in anime, but I couldn't tell.

Anyhow, I should stop before this becomes email-length.
