I wanted to show something in return to the friend I'm leeching Buffy from, but the only thing I really have are eps of live-action Sailormoon. And the more I think about it, PGSM is really not a show for the unitiated. I mean, sure, its plot stands on its own, and such. But how can one fully appreciate the oddity of Nephrite's new look, and Tuxie's supposed suaveness, and the... something... ness... of taking orders from a talking cat, if one is not familiar with the original anime or manga?

Well, I may give it a try anyway. See how it turns out. <g>

On the other hand, I'm definitely gonna sing "C'est La Vie" at Anime Club karaoke night to torture those already subjected to the cheeziness. Mwahaha.

Anime club karaoke night? How does one manage that? I wanna karaoke anime...

Yeah, dude. I've been trying to organize something like that for our anime club all year, but I doubt there's any real interest, even if people did all sing along to the Kare Kano ED. =/

Dude, for us, the problem is acquisitions and/or finding karaoke bar with a good anime song selection... *everyone* sings/hums along to all of the OPs and EDs, and complain when we forward through them... :D

Oh, I gave up on the finding a karaoke bar. The thing I organized was going to be more like the "bring your own music" kind.

The karaoke bar I saw in Little Tokyo said "over 18 only", which I didn't think very promising. o.O; And the one I went to with other Techers was pretty much Chinese music only.

Well, people just sign up to perform any song from anime or J-pop or J-rock. =P Bring your own music. Last year a group of three did "Roketto Dan yo Eien ni" XD

Yay~ Live Action Sailormoon! Haha, if little kids watched it, I wonder if they would be scared of stuffed animals after that. Also, Mamoru is cool, but Tuxedo Mask isn't. How does that work? I don't know.
