Not entirely lucid z_z
Okay, now that I've gotten my fill of the Getty's exhibits, next time I go I can just plunk myself down in front of a painting and sketch sketch sketch the whole time =) I did do a few sketches, but they're pretty hurried/incomplete. Still, though, I like the starts and bits I've got down.
Came across this online copy of Fanny Hill the other day and have been browsing through. Am quite surprised at how explicit it is for, what, 1700s? It's not even like the flowery romance novels nowadays, though the language is flowery indeed. This is, like, porn, only written. I mean, I've heard of the book's... reputation, but man, 1700s, I thought just hinting at stuff was scandalous enough back then. =P
...Anyways, now that I've lowered my respectability by another several notches...
