Productivity! Sort of.

Since I have no more homework left and my finals are late in the week, going to take some time out to draw. Man, I haven't used the tablet in a long time...

Whee hair!

I'll still need to put in the shadows cast onto the face at a later time. Next I may move on to Zelda, or I may finally get around to that neck...

Edit: Is that any better? Shadows casted, though maybe not very well yet.

the hair is of the bright. Makes the face look dark and highlight-lacking.

edit: am intrigued by the right side "lift" of Link's hair line. Maybe me former reaction is b/c Link's hair is so well-shampooed and reflective, yet his face seems monotonic. Like there's a strong, saturaty spotlight focused solely on his hair. B/c we don't really care about his face or something. (He looks 30 anyway, so who cares about 30-yr-old Link?)

Oh, am pained by all you people who think old == ugly and not worthy.

But didn't I manage to tone the lighting down any?

I don't properly recall the earlier version, so I can't vouch for this one, but it does seem less bright. The hair is still in juxtaposition to his face, though. Maybe putting a little fleshy red tone would be good?
