Okay, I've been dead for a long time... rushing about trying to get this study abroad application put together at the last minute. I don't even want to do it all that much now, since I'm finally starting to get settled down here and meeting people at clubs and such, and what would come of that if I took off to another country for a year in the middle of everything? My parents want me to try to transfer to Stanford too because it's closer to home. I wonder if I can still wiggle out of that...

I guess I'd like it if I get into Tokyo Institute of Technology because they have quite a few computer graphics courses there, but the requirements say they only accept seniors. I'll almost have senior standing by the time I go, but I doubt that'll make the cut...

It probably sounds wrong coming from a Stanford transfer, but the process is a pain in the ass, since they have the longest transfer app I've ever seen. And just because it's closer to home doesn't necessarily mean it's better in any way - for one, the tuition.

And the food. The great, wonderful, awesome food that sent half of Manzanita Park's residents rushing to the toilet with a hand over their mouths.

Sorry, I'm just being morbid after this whole food poisoning ordeal. But as long as LA dining remains safer than Stanford's, I'd suggest you stay there...

Don't think I haven't picked up anything from your ordeals. It's nothing to convince my parents over though.
