Zomg, check out these boots of awesomeness I got at Goodwill for $11.

Makes me want to revisit my Saturn cosplay :( But it's hard to cosplay these days without looking like a tool because there are so many people doing it for Serious Business. By that, I mean I don't feel comfortable doing my cobbled-togethered almost-but-not-exact costumes anymore.

(Also, I'd have to spend money on a wig be cheap and cut my hair look like an anime character.)

The thing I'm sad about is that these boots are so awesomely suitable in color, fit, and form... but still not *accurate*, if I were going to make a better costume.

Although then again, a quick Google Image search made me realize that Sailor Moon cosplayers are really still putting in about the same amount of effort as they used to when we were doing it. Maybe I'll break out my cardboard and metallic paints again after all :P At least this time I can make my fuku to fit...
