But the trip's not over! We then spent a week in good 'ol NorCal.
Where it stormed so hard that a tree blew down. Badass.

Obligatory FLUFFY KITTY

I always like the Palace of Fine Arts, it's a nice walk after going to the Exploratorium.

Monterey Bay Aquarium, featuring lotsa sea critters

Such as this helpful fellow who hung out right above his sign.

Oh god ocean sunfish are such dysfunctional-looking creatures.

Of course the jellyfish pictures are what you go to the aquarium for.

They also had a nifty "Art of Jellies" exhibit, featuring stuff like these. (The second display is actually an independent artist's gallery on Highway 1.)

Love the cuddly gift shop :3 I bought that football of a whale and we call it Blubber.

Drove down the coast from Monterey

Stopped at an uber-classy shoreside restaurant that is in no way affordable

And ended with another nice sunset.

The football-whale was softer and squishier! My second choice was one of the mantas but in the end Blubber was the better deal. :3
