It's E3 again, day 2
All right, it's on. This'll have to be pretty stream-of-conscious because I do have that test to take soon afterwards. Will try to sort things out more at a later time.
Mario Galaxy! The rumors were right!
Metroid Prime 3 looks pretty much like how it always did =D Although shinier. That's fine, MP doesn't really have much else to improve upon graphically.
Haha, I love how they have those Chinese-looking girls playing ping pong because only Chinese people play ping pong right =D (not exaggeration)
Oh damn, but that is a NICE trailer display for Red Steel. Excellent atmosphere.
Dragonball Z and One Piece = not at all interested, but really awesomely done manga/anime style!
Day of Crisis = even prettier! I wonder what the gameplay's about? ...Disaster survival? Uhh, I'm getting the feeling those shiny disaster scenes are cutscenes...
Holy crap Fire Emblem looks PURTY! And... and "dark"? ...also cutscenes of course. ;P
Tony Hawk looks much better than the screenshots they released. =P

Wiimote features: built-in speaker, rumble for immersion; motion sensing in the nunchuck. Those weren't the "one last big secret" you've been promising Nintendo. =P Oh well, it's not like it's not nifty enough already.
I can't say I quite understand how the Wiimote is supposed to control Super Mario Galaxy, I mean in an innovative, intuitive way.

Man, tennis looks hard. =D I think this Wiimote is actually going to make gaming HARDER for me because I am teh lose at sports =D =D
Edit: Upon further reflection, I think I'll still be fine with buying GC Twilight Princess and holding off for a price drop/must have game/more monies on the Wii. As long as the Wiimote controls are the *only* thing that's different. Otherwise I... I don't know what I'll do

Try playing Fire Emblem on the GBA first - it's a strategy game and not at all like what the cutscenes they show you in the trailer might suggest. =D Think of it like Battlechess, where you get to look at shiny movies when pieces attack each other.

...See, chess just scares me! ;) I've been neglecting my poor GBA- Sonic Advance 3 was the last thing I bought for it and I think that it's on it's last legs (I inherited it from my sister, who unfortunately had the thing yoinked from her grasp by an obnoxious small child who promptly dropped it in a muddy puddle. Result: D-pad is fucked and it's impossible to beat Ganon with it on ALttP) I plan to DS my goods soonish.

I suck at chess too. That's why I haven't gotten very far in Fire Emblem and just sit around ogling the cutscenes Nintendo throws at us every year. =P
