I'd considered going this year -- one of those things, like AX, that I figure I should do at least once while I'm in SoCal -- but I realized that I'm not really that much of a gamer, and it's not really worth missing class and sacrificing Ditch Day construction time and all that to wait in line for schwag all day.
But I think you'd definitely enjoy it a lot more than I would.
Isn't it insanely expensive (to a student) to get a pass? ::checks:: Yeah, $600 is not for me. Besides, I'll probably in SoCal at Gnomon for a while longer and whatnot anyway.
As long as I get into Gnomon, I'll be around for another two years, possibly longer if I get a good job in the area. It'd be nice to settle down in the Bay Area but career is more important.
