The Sony conference was mostly completely uninteresting. Instead of attempting to snark on it, here come more Nintendo goodies.
Zelda Skyward Sword
- I hope "Skyward Sword" refers to the fact that you'll hold the sword skywardlike He-man rather than it being called the Skyward Sword instead of Master Sword or something.
- Hueg (but scaled down for your sanity) artwork! 1 | 2 | 3 Oh boy, watercolor style. Something new to learn for fanart-ing. :P Nakano I'm never going to keep up with you
- Screens! It really does look like a painting :) | 2 | 3 | 4 | Like the style of that tree. :) | 6 | 7 | This is purdy. | 9 | 10 | lol Photoshop filter. Is this really a screenshot? | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16
- He's right-handed :( Still wish they'd tell us a little more about the story or at least any of the characters...

- OMG NOT ONLY IS AMATERASU CHIBI BUT THERE ARE BABY VERSIONS OF ALL THE ZODIAC GODS TOO. SQUEHHHH. :3 :3 :3
- Want this on the 3DS. But then I pretty much want everything on the 3DS now.
Speaking of 3DS, the games:
- Kid Icarus Uprising has a pretty artwork but a lame logo. It's going to be kind of weird because I'm going to kind of feel like I'm playing Brawl the whole time through it. :P
- OCARINA OF TIME. I wasn't tempted to buy it yet again on the Virtual Console because I'd already beaten it like 10+ times, but IN THREE DEE is pretty much enough to get me throwing moneys at it again, not to mention the more polished graphics. Just a teeeeeny bit of added content, pleeeeaaase?
- Animal Crossing - NO NOT PLAYING IT EVER AGAIN. I'm not sure why they decided to stretch out the characters a little more if they don't just go all out and make them Miis.
- Mario Kart - I wonder if driving in 3D makes it any easier or harder? Those graphics are really smooth.
- Paper Mario - This has got to be the easiest 3D game to make ever. :D
- Star Fox 64 3D - I'm not a Star Fox player, but this looks quite nice.
- Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is very nice looking, even though I'll never play it.
- Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle - does this really benefit from 3D.......? I'll still buy it nonetheless.
- Resident Evil - gee, those sure are some shiny... cutscenes. Although with 3D in play, even pre-rendered cinematics are a little bit more interesting.
- Ridge Racer - it's Ridge Racer guys! Riiiiiidge Racer!
- Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition - That is a really nice port of the art style! I don't play SF but I would sure like to see that game.
(I know some of you already have these courtesy of other sites butat least I sat on press.nintendo.com for like 5 hours for you I'm doing it out of tradition. :P)
Kirby this fall, Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong Country this holiday season, plus 3DS might be out then too... I'm starting to thank Nintendo for delaying Zelda because MY WALLET and spare time HERTZ.
