Hum, hum

Slowly and steadily cranking out that tutorial. I've put off doing the actual main pic though... it would involve coming up with a random character design and I don't like being creative. ^^;; Maybe tomorrow.

Skills with Zelda (but not Sheik) in SSBM steadily improving. I'm pretty confident taking on level 9 computers with her, and I do fairly better now with two against me. Still can't come out the victor most of the time in 2-on-1, but then I'm not really good enough to do that with any character yet. ::lightning kick::

Edit: Except Link, 'cause he's a cheap bastard. XD

Yes, it's all about the mid-air kick. And the trophy says all this stuff about how it doesn't do much damage if it doesn't hit straight on. Feh. Up smash is pretty sweet, too. Now I just need to learn how to use Farore's Wind to advantage. v.v;;

Sadly, I will probably never be able to take on even one L9 computer, especially not as Zelda. Maybe someday with Marth, 'cause he's also a cheap bastard. =P "Boku wa makeru wake ni wa ikanai!"

- Um, the air kick DOES need to hit straight on...
- Zelda's smashes are mostly useless against the computer, who uses directional influence against multi-hit attacks like there's no tomorrow. (In other words, they escape from it much faster than you tend to.) It makes me cry.
- Farore's Wind is so-so. Nayru's Love, however, is a lovely lovely move. <g>

Yes, I know the kick needs to hit straight on. But it seems hard for me to NOT. It would be a first for me -- something in SSBM that just comes naturally.

I think I just started noticing today how Nayru's Love explodes, kind of like Link's bombs. Farore's Wind is her instantaneous move with the longest range, though, I think... I dunno, it comes in handy.
