I am SO GODDAMN CLOSE to being finished with my demo reel. Here are old fandom projects I'm nostalgic for and wish to re-indulge in immediately after I send off resumes.

* Lord of the Rings rewatching

By the way, I didn't find Half Blood Prince the most exciting of the books, but I really like the look of the movie's production design. That, at least, is getting better and better with every movie regardless of how successful (or not) the adaptation is. My dream is to work on either of the Deadly Hollow movies. Hey it could happen :3

(Still never going to buy the Harry/Ginny pairing. I don't dislike it but it's developed SO BAD.)

Haha, I keep forgetting about the movies. I largely lost interest in HP after Deathly Hollow (the writing didn't capture me the way the earlier books had).

It would be very neat if you could work on the movie adaptation. I want to see you hide that Putin mock up you did in there somewhere, then we'll know!

Me likey production design improvements too. Then again Chris Columbus's production designs were more like stage play ones than movie ones...

I also have nothing against Harry/Ginny. Usually I favor the pairings that I feel are more canon and will try my best to accept whatever the creator says, but this was one case in which obedient old me couldn't take it.

I'm drooling over all of the chocolates in that last pic with Dan Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright. Please don't tell me they're plastic.

Well hey, at least you finished the series, so that's that. I haven't been fan-obsessed since probably the 5th book but that's okay, interest ramps up now and then because nifty things (like movies) happen.

Freakin' creepy. Deathly Hollows is in 1997 so Putin wasn't even doing stuff then. XP

The bit about stage productions wasn't my idea. It definitely was from a movie review I read when PoA came out, but I can't recall whether it was James Berardinelli or NY Times or Greg's Previews on Yahoo Movies. Those are the only three I read religiously.
